this reminds me of the view I had at this ruins of an Iron Age fort I went to on one of the Aran Islands in Ireland.  Part of the fort has fallen into the ocean and there’s a 100 foot cliff where that happened.  Here is a cautious photo I took looking out into the ocean at the edge of the cliff:  http://i.imgur.com/5u34B.jpg
